“I think other people look down on residential care, they see it as not a nice place to be. It's a place where children have chose to go themselves through them being bad or their parent's not wanting them.
Living in care is good, it has its good points and it's bad points, there's all different things to say. You've got to stick with the rules and sometimes people don't like that but apart from that it is a good experience. It's made me realise my true identity and and it's helped me grow.”
“People think the worst of people in care, like the stereotype. Basically, stereotyping is they make judgements against you like they think you can do what you want, when you want, how you want.
I'm getting support for moving into my first house. You should judge people the same way because we're no different from any body else.”
